Sharjah, Dec 8 (IANS/WAM) A total of 46 couples from Sharjah in the UAE were married at a mass wedding ceremony, the sixth mass wedding in the emirate in 2012.
The mass wedding, organised Thursday by the Marriage Fund at the Sharjah Expo, was atended by Sharjah's deputy ruler Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qasimi.
Sheikh Abdullah shook hands with all the bridegrooms and wished them a happy and prosperous life.
The Marriage Fund is a federal government institution that helps fund the ceremonial expenses of UAE citizens.
