New Delhi, March 6 (IANS) A 22-year-old man who borrowed 10 rupees from the station staff to enter a Delhi Metro station here committed suicide by jumping in front of a train, police said Tuesday.
The identity of the victim is not known. He was wearing an amulet of Lord Hanuman.
A police official said he entered Mayur Vihar Phase-I station at 11.23 a.m. Around 20 minutes later, he jumped onto the metro track from platform number two.
"He came under the wheels of the train coming from Noida," said the official.
According to the official, the youth took Rs.10 from the station staff.
