New Delhi, March 6 (IANS) A partial cloud cover and a gentle breeze brought down the maximum temperature in the national capital Tuesday to 29.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 19.5 degrees Celsius, seven notches above normal.

"Wednesday should be cooler, with clear skies with the day temperature varying between a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius to a minimum of 15 degrees Celsius," a meteorological department official told IANS.

The day's maximum humidity was 89 percent while the minimum was 33 percent.

A maximum temperature of 33 degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday, while the minimum was 17.8 degrees Celsius.
